New FRAS String Liner Mount for Underground Coal Mining

Many low-roof mining facilities like to use string mounts for mounting guidance lasers.  Because we manufacture the lasers, we prefer to also manufacture the mounting systems.

ART has embarked on a mission to establish a modular FRAS plastic string mount that will mount the SLX series of lasers.  The string mounts are designed for the SLX-635S lasers (either 2- or 3- cell versions) to slide right in, be locked in place, and automatically be aligned with the hex FRAS section.

A facility for safety cable is provided.  The string access in the final product is thinner than that shown here, and enables the string mount to be simply hung or retrieved.
